^Under this scheme, a low deposit home loan is available to help West Australians finance an affordable home where other home loan lenders cannot provide assistance. The loan is only available for owner occupiers, who can then buy or build a home anywhere in Western Australia.
This loan is available to both first home buyers and subsequent home buyers. The lender has a number of eligibility criteria that you must meet in order to apply for a home loan. These include your income bracket (which varies for singles and couples), how many credit commitments you have and the purchase price of your home or home and land package.
The deposit required by the lender is 2%, however they require 1% proven in genuine savings and will allow you to use the first home owners grant FHOG to bolster the balance of the 2%, thus creating a 1% deposit, genuine savings scenario. You’ll need to be eligible for the first home owners grant FHOG.
If you meet the lenders criteria then Lendmark Home Finance may be able to get your loan approved.
